Analysis of basic laws in integral and differential form. Integral methods application in fluid based systems analysis and design. Description of the course: Introduction. Mathematical Foundations: Indicial Notation, Operations with Cartesian Tensors.Physical Foundations: The Continuum Concept, Basic Physical Quantities.Kinematics of Fluid Motion. Lagrangian Viewpoint, Eulerian Viewpoint, Material Derivative, Velocity, Acceleration; Path Lines, Stream Lines, Vortex Lines; Elementary Motions Analysis and Physical Interpretation of Rate of Deformation and Vorticity Tensors; Stream and Vortex Tubes. Material Derivatives of Volume, Area and Line Elements, Material Derivatives of Volume, Surface and Line Integrals.Introduction to Fluid Dynamics. sisvu:description 2101 Mehanika fluida I Semestar Predavanja + vježbe Ukupno ECTS koeficijent 4 3 + 2 5 Nositelj kolegija: Zdravko Virag Cilj kolegija: Upoznavanje studenata s osnovnim zakonima (aksiomima) klasične fizike kao osnove za analizu širokog područja problema mehanike fluida. Analiza osnovnih zakona u integralnoj i diferencijalnoj formi. Primjena integralnih metoda u analizi i projektiranju sistema u kojima je fluid radni medij. Opis kolegija: Uvod. Matematičke osnove: indeksna notacija, operacije s kartezijskim tenzorima. Fizikalne osnove: koncept kontinuuma, osnovne fizikalne veličine. Kinematika fluida. Lagrangeov i Eulerov opis strujanja, materijalna derivacija, brzina, ubrzanje; Trajektorije, strujnice, vrtložnice; Analiza gibanja čestice fluida, fizikalna interpretacija tenzora brzine deformacije i tenzora vrtložnosti; Strujna i vrtložna cijev. Materijalna derivacija volumenskog, površinskog i linijskog elementa; Materijalna derivacija volumenskog, površinskog i linijskog integrala. Uvod u dinamiku fluida. Sile u fluidu; Masene sile; Površinske sile: vektor naprezanja, tenzor naprezanja. Osnovni zakoni: integralni i diferencijalni oblici jednadžbi kontinuiteta, količine gibanja, momenta količine gibanja i energetske jednadžbe. Konstitutivne jednadžbe: Newtonov zakon viskoznosti, Fourierov zakon toplinske vodljivosti, termodinamičke jednadžbe stanja.Dimenzijska analiza i hidrodinamička sličnost. Fizikalne veličine, osnovna jednadžba metrologije, dimenzije i jedinice, Bridgmanova jednadžba, teorem homogenosti, PI teorem. Hidrodinamička sličnost: geometrijska, kinematička i dinamička sličnost; bezdimenzijske značajke u mehanici fluida. Statika fluida.
