Familiarity with analytical system and controll of analytical process Subject content: Systemic approach to chemical analysis. Sample and sampling. Sample preparation. Analyte separation and isolation from sample matrix. . Performance characteristics of chemical measurement process. Evaluation of analytical data: errors in analytical system, measuring uncertainty, significant figures, rejection of data, tests of agreement between sets of data. Calibration and standardization. Correction of blind value. Absolute and comparative methods. Gravimetric methods. Particle size and purity of precipitate. Precipitating agents. Electrogravimetric determinations.
